Workshops and trainings are aimed at providing an empowering, informative, and engaging learning experience for organizations. I use the ADDRESSING framework to consider Age and generational influences, Developmental and other Disability, Religion and spirituality, Ethnic and racial identity, Socioeconomic/class status, Sexual orientation, Indigenous heritage, National origin, and Gender. Emphasis is placed on the ways in which multicultural awareness and knowledge of systemic oppression and privilege can enhance understanding, improve relationships, and facilitate effectiveness at work and in social settings.
Therapist trainings are designed specifically for psychologists, behavioral health and substance use counselors, social service providers, mental health educators and supervisors. Participants learn evidenced-based skills and strategies for improving the effectiveness of psychological and social services with people of diverse identities.
